We are moving forward!
We are exceedingly gratified to report that we had an enthusiastic response to our request for applications and we believe that we have selected a committee that is balanced and well qualified to represent the parish as we proceed with the building design. The members are:
Jim Burress, Chair
Kim Ficaro
Debby Lengyel
Christopher Myers
Kaity Ryan
Jim is a long-time member of Trinity and its choir and serves as the Chief Finance Officer of the Preservation Society of Newport County. Kim is a newer member and an interior designer, among many other creative endeavors. Debby, a practical nurse, has been an active member of Trinity chairing many successful events supporting several ministries. Christopher, a computer programmer, is active in the choir and, with his wife and children, has participated in most, if not all, of the church’s activities. Kaity and her husband were married at Trinity a few years ago and rise up extra early on Sunday mornings to travel from Smithfield to attend church at Trinity. She is the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Preservation Society of Newport County and a member of the RI Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission.
