Stewardship Announcement 9/15/2019

Although stewardship is a commitment we make 12 months of the year, it is tradition here at Trinity that in the fall we intensify our efforts and focus on our annual pledge drive. During the next weeks, you will be receiving information about the monies it takes to keep our parish running as well as the sources of income. It should be no surprise, that annual pledge gifts are our largest and most important source of income. We will share history of how our parish gives and we will share information about thought processes of determining your pledge amount. There will be opportunities to gather in small groups to discuss the importance of your pledge. And on November 24th, we will have “Pledge Sunday” and ask that you bring your pledge card to church.

Meanwhile, the finance committee is working hard to prepare for 2020. A balanced budget is one of the most important responsibilities for the Vestry. Please plan to make your pledge by November 24th so that the finance committee can draft a responsible budget for 2020.

Our parish membership has grown substantially over these past years and yet it is important to note that our pledges have not. It is so important that we correct this trend. For those of you who have pledged in the past, thank you. We ask that you please consider increasing your gift for 2020. And for those of you who have yet to pledge, we encourage you to make that commitment.

God’s blessings are with us each and every day. We must cherish them. When we reflect upon all our gifts, gratitude abounds and giving back becomes so rewarding.
