There are so many ways to get involved in our life at Trinity Church, and we welcome your presence and participation. Many of our ministries are listed below, along with contact information for the people who serve as leaders. Please reach out if there is an area of ministry that would put your gifts to work!
Host Coffee Hour
Almost every week after worship we gather in the Hawes Room for coffee, tea, and lite snacks. We value this time together to talk and visit after church, and to get to know one another. Signing up to host coffee hour is a wonderful way to offer hospitality! Our coffee hour coordinator will offer careful instruction, and there are plenty of folks to help! Serve on the Altar Society
Four teams of dedicated parishioners serve faithfully to prepare our holy space for worship each week. Duties include preparing vessels for communion, tending to linens, and ensuring that our worship space is tidy and ready for church. Teams serve one weekend a month, and help with other services on rotation. Email Mary if you would be interested in this ministry.
Make Prayer Shawls
Our prayer shawl group meets twice a month on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 - 3:30pm in the Hawes Room to make prayer shawls and baptismal blankets. They also occasionally make hats that are offered to the guests at Community Meal.

Craft for the Silver Tea
Each year on the first weekend of December, Trinity hosts a Silver Tea, welcoming parishioners and members of the community to come for high tea, and to purchase hand crafted items. Help create those items every Tuesday through the fall, or volunteer to help the day of the tea. Email Chris for more information.
Serve shortcake at the Strawberry Festival
One Saturday in June each year, Trinity hosts a wonderful Strawberry Festival on our lawn, welcoming hundreds of guests for shortcake and other treats. Help is always welcomed with prepping and serving. Contact Ellen for more information or to volunteer.
Be a lector
A rotation of parishioners help us proclaim the words of scripture each week at church and lead our Prayers of the People. We will provide training and guidelines, and we would welcome your voice in worship. Email Terry to learn more.
Serve as an acolyte
Acolytes carry the cross, help set the table for Holy Communion, and serve the chalice. Training is required for this role. Serving on the altar is a wonderful way to participate in our life of worship. Contact Meaghan if you are interested in learning more about this important ministry.
Sing with the choir
Our music at Trinity helps create a transcendent worship experience, thanks in large part to our incredible choir. Experienced adult singers are welcome to join the choir. Rehearsals take place on Thursdays from 7-9pm, and on Sunday morning at 9am before the service. Email Fred for more information.
Be an usher
We absolutely rely on members of the parish to help provide a warm welcome to parishioners and guests alike each Sunday. If you would like to help with this ministry, which includes greeting people, helping them find a seat, collecting the offering, and helping people come forward for communion, email Jim to learn more.
